Just wanted to give a quick update before we leave. We have all our bags packed, the house cleaned, and are counting down the minutes before we leave. We are just about ready to run over to Culver's for a quick, delicious lunch. It's weird to think that next time we walk into our house we will have children with us. I am sitting on the floor in our family room, looking around. Wondering which toys the kids will like best. Hoping that we won't have to put away any of our decorations that aren't exactly "kid friendly." All of our hopes and dreams of having a family are going to come true in just a few more hours. It still seems surreal. But, we know this is exactly the plan that God has for us.
As we leave, we would ask that you join us in prayer for a few items:
- that our plans to meet both birth moms would work out
- that the kids would be excited to meet us
- that we would bond quickly and securely in our first week together
- that we would be safe and healthy while we travel
