Happy Gotcha Day!

I can hardly believe it's already been a year since we first met Michael and Liliana Faye. We have loved every moment of the past year together. We are so blessed to have two amazing kids.

I am blown away by how much both of the kids have grown over the past year. Not only physically, but in every area of their lives.
Michael looks so round and short in the picture on the left. The first picture was taken a couple days after meeting Michael in Addis Ababa. He is wearing Liliana's pink jacket (size 12 months). I can hardly believe how tall and thin he is now, one year later. Although, that boy fits a ton of food in his stomach and pushes it out quite far ... Michael calls it his "ginant."
Liliana's pictures seem much more dramatically different. She was in 9 month clothes when we brought her home. Although she acted like an 18 month old, her body seemed like a baby's. We used to laugh when she walked because it seemed so unnatural for a child her size to be able to walk so well. Now she looks like a little lady. She is so unbelievably precious.
